Help me!!

A while back I told you all about a new fantasy series I was starting.

I started.

I won Camp NaNoWriMo with it. I set my goal at 20K and made it!:)

Now I'm around 25-30K in and stuck. I do this with every book I've ever tried to write. I get just over halfway and tap out. I need motivation! I need help!!

That's where you guys come in. I need advice, motivation, anything you can give me! I would be extremely grateful and indebted to you for your help!:)

  1. Motivation is a tough one. ;) My motivation is usually just telling myself I want this to be my career, soooo...I need to get a wriggle on. XD And rewards! Rewards rock! Like if you write such-and-such amount of words you can go on Pinterest for a while, or you can watch a movie. Little things. Doesn't even always have to be chocolate. XD

    1. I need to set up a rewards system for myself. Might be a good way to tackle that huge candy mound left over fron Easter;P For me, it almost always has to be chocolate;P Or ice cream. Or Sonic french fries;P

  2. Rewards sounds like a good idea, I should try that.
I don't know if you listen to music or not when you write, but sometimes finding new writing music is helpful. Or just disciplining yourself at least sit down and attempt to write for an allotted amount of time.

    1. I do listen to music!:) Maybe I do need new noveling music. I've been listening to the same Chronicles of Narnia and Pirates of the Carribean soundtracks for ages!

    2. Lol! You definitely need new music then. You should try Batman, there are three albums of that. Also, Ginny introduced me to illusions which is great! And I listen to a few songs from the movie Inception.

  3. Are you stuck as in "I have no idea where this story is going" or as in "I just don't feel like writing today"? The first one is a lot harder; I'm afraid I wouldn't know how to help you with that one. As for the second... maybe try a new setting (if you're on a laptop and can take it somewhere). Or read some books in the genre you're writing in; you might get some new inspiration to keep going.

    1. Umm...I'm stuck more as in I don't know what to do from now until the climax. I know where I want the story to go overall, and I still want to write (just not on this WIP). I think my main problem is that I need to get myself psyched out and excited with the story again
